On September 23, 2026, Ms. Kang Wen, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Sweden, attended and addressed the Strategic Leadership Forum hosted by the Swedish Machine Rental Association. Counselor Kang briefed the participants on China’s high-quality economic development and the opportunities it presents, and shared views on the “overcapacity” narrative, China-EU trade balance, and ways to promote economic and trade cooperation between China and the EU and between China and Sweden. Mr. Johan Bång, Chairman of the Swedish Machine Rental Association, and representatives of several member companies attended the event.
