On June 8, 2026, Ambassador Zhou Limin met with Ms. Malin Hammaren, General Manager of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China (SwedCham China). They held in-depth exchanges on China-Sweden economic and trade cooperation. Ms. Kang Wen, Counselor in charge of economic and commercial affairs at the Embassy, attended the meeting.

Ambassador Zhou highly commended SwedCham China for its positive contribution to economic and trade exchanges between China and Sweden. He stated that bilateral economic and trade cooperation has brought tangible benefits to the peoples of both countries and still holds great potential. He expressed the hope that the Chamber would continue to play its role as a bridge, encouraging more Swedish companies to go to China and experience its technological innovation and development, to strengthen themselves in the “fitness club” of the Chinese market and continuously enhance their core competitiveness.

Ms. Malin stated that Swedish companies are showing increasing enthusiasm for cooperation with China. SwedCham China will actively promote the vast potential and innovation-driven development opportunities of the Chinese market to Swedish companies, encourage more Swedish companies to visit and invest in China, and help create more enabling conditions for practical cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
