On April 15, 2026, Ambassador Zhou Limin attended the high-level expert forum held by the Chinese Embassy in Sweden. Nearly 20 Swedish experts and scholars participated in the event.

Ambassador Zhou noted that innovation is a priority and key area of cooperation between China and Sweden, and the rapid development of China’s technological innovation has created important opportunities for Sweden. Under the guidance of the 15th Five-Year Plan, China will place greater emphasis on scientific and technological innovation and high-standard opening up. He expressed the hope that experts will continue to leverage their extensive influence and professional leadership, to further deepen practical cooperation between China and Sweden in science, education, and talent development.

Participants engaged in lively discussions and expressed their readiness to strengthen research collaboration and personnel exchanges , and shared suggestions for further promoting practical cooperation between the two countries.They also took part in the Chinese tea ceremony and “The Ancient Road of the Three Kingdoms” VR experience activities.
