On April 1, 2026, Ambassador Zhou Limin met with Ms. Camilla Mellander, Director General for Trade Policy at Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China–Sweden economic and trade relations and other issues. They agreed that bilateral economic and trade cooperation has made positive progress in recent years, and that both sides should further strengthen communication, promote industrial cooperation across various fields, and share development opportunities.
