On March 31, 2026, Ambassador Zhou Limin visited Getinge AB, and exchanged views with President & CEO of Getinge Mattias Perjos on strengthening China-Sweden cooperation in healthcare.

Ambassador Zhou introduced the 15th Five-Year Plan, highlighting its focus on advancing high-quality development, including the Healthy China Initiative, and commended Getinge for its long-standing commitment to promoting medical technology innovation and the development of the healthcare industry. Ambassador Zhou noted that ensuring the Chinese people’s access to better healthcare services is an important goal of the Chinese government, and expressed the hope that Getinge will continue to deepen its presence in the Chinese market, strengthen cooperation and exchanges with Chinese medical institutions, and enhance innovative applications, so as to bring greater benefits to the peoples of both countries.

President Perjos introduced the company’s core business and its development in China. He stated that China is characterized by rapid economic development, great potential, abundant talent and a strong emphasis on the healthcare industry. Getinge will continue to increase its investment in China, and cooperate closely with Chinese medical institutions for win-win results.
