On November 22, 2024, Ambassador Cui Aimin met with Chairman of Sweden-China Trade Council (SCTC) Ulf Pehrsson and other board members. They exchanged views on the development of China-Sweden economic and trade relations.

Ambassador Cui expressed his appreciation for the positive contributions SCTC has long made to the stable development of China-Sweden economic and trade relations. He pointed out that China is advancing high-quality development by promoting higher-standard opening up, which will bring opportunities to the world. He stated that China and Sweden share complementary industrial strengths, and have huge potential for cooperation in many fields, especially green and sustainable development. He expressed the hope that the two sides work together to create more highlights in cooperation, so as to benefit the two peoples.

Mr. Pehrsson and other members commended the great achievements China has made in economic and social development in recent years. They expressed the readiness to continue promoting bilateral practical cooperation for common development.
