On November 29, 2024, Ambassador Cui Aimin visited Atlas Copco Group, and exchanged views on deepening practical cooperation with Vagner Rego, President and CEO of Atlas Copco Group, among other people.

Ambassador Cui provided an overview of China’s efforts to deepen reform across the board and to advance high-quality development with higher-standard opening-up, and briefed on the economic and trade exchanges between China and Sweden. He expressed his appreciation for Atlas Copco’s long-standing positive efforts to promote the practical economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. He underscored that Atlas Copco has advanced technologies and management experience in areas such as compressor manufacturing, vacuum technology and carbon dioxide storage, which is in line with China’s current needs to promote sustainable development. He expressed the hope that Atlas Copco would continue to embrace the Chinese market, expand cooperation to new fields and regions, and explore multiparty cooperation, so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

President Vagner Rego shared information about the company’s development and business performance in China. He said that the company started its business in China more than 100 years ago, and has been deeply engaged in different stages of China’s development, as it attaches great importance to the Chinese market. He expressed the readiness to continue deepening the cooperation between the two sides in relevant fields.
