On December 9, 2024, Ambassador to Sweden Cui Aimin attended the opening ceremony of the Chinese Art Exhibition of the China National Academy of Painting themed “Chinese Painting in an International Perspective”. More than 100 people, including Swedish artists, attended the event.

Ambassador Cui Aimin said in his remarks that the exhibition, under the subtheme of “Wandering Through Mountains and Forests”, “All We Mortal Beings” and “There’s a Soul In Everything”, represent Chinese artists’ cultural reflections on harmony between humanity and nature, the diversity of social life and ecological and environmental protection. They are also in line with Sweden’s cultural values of environmental protection and sustainable development. He expressed the hope that the audience will see, through the exhibition, what the Chinese artists think and feel, discover the light of art that touches and resonates with their souls, and experience and contemporary side of traditional Chinese culture.

Artists from the China National Academy of Painting introduced the characteristics of traditional Chinese paintings to the guests and gave guided tours of the exhibited works, which received enthusiastic response from the audience.
