On July 18, 2024, Chinese Ambassador to Sweden Cui Aimin visited CGN Europe Energy (CGNEE) Sweden Holding AB and held discussions with Huang Yuanzheng, General Manager of CGNEE, and some employees. The Economic and Commercial Counsellor Kang Wen attended the event.

Ambassador Cui fully recognized that CGN, as a world-leading clean energy supplier and service provider, has taken active steps to promote green development and made positive contributions to the common goal of addressing climate change. He briefed on China’s high-quality development and China-Sweden economic and trade cooperation, and emphasized that CGNEE should comply with laws and regulations, implement green operations and uphold integrity. He also stressed that CGNEE should actively fulfill its social responsibilities, improve risk awareness, make efforts to enhance workplace safety in a rigorous, meticulous and pragmatic manner, so as to effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employees. He expressed the hope that CGNEE will continue to deepen cooperation with Swedish enterprises, create more high-quality cooperation projects for achieving sustainable green development in both countries and creating a better living environment for the two peoples.

General Manager Huang shared information on CGNEE’s business operations and stated that the company would increase investment in green projects, continue to explore the Swedish market with active contributions to the society, and deepen the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides.
