On December 25, 2024, Ambassador Cui Aimin attended the Annual Meeting 2024 and Christmas & New Year Party of the Qingtian Association of Sweden. Nearly 300 people, including leaders of overseas Chinese groups and overseas Chinese in Sweden, attended the event.

Ambassador Cui extended holiday greetings to the overseas Chinese, expressed appreciation to the Qingtian Association and overseas Chinese in Sweden for their positive contributions to the friendship between Chinese and Swedish people, and briefed on the economic and social development of China and China-Sweden relations. Ambassador Cui expressed the hope that the Qingtian Association and overseas Chinese in Sweden would not forget their original aspirations, strengthen unity and solidarity, abide by laws and regulations, do more things that are beneficial to the overseas Chinese, local society, and bilateral cooperation, give further play to their unique strengths of connecting China and Sweden, and promote the friendly cooperation between the two countries with concrete actions.

Mr. Xia Haidong, Chairman of the Qingtian Association of Sweden, reviewed the association’s work over the past year, and stated that the association would anchor itself in the local society, strengthen its own development, and make new contributions to serving overseas Chinese in Sweden and promoting friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and Sweden.
