On December 18, 2024, Ambassador Cui Aimin visited Getinge Group, and exchanged views with Vice President of Getinge Cecilia Sjöstedt on strengthening cooperation in the field of healthcare.

Ambassador Cui provided an overview of China’s efforts to advance high-quality economic development with higher-standard opening-up, and briefed on China’s healthcare development. He expressed his appreciation for the positive contributions Getinge made in promoting China-Sweden cooperation in the field of health care and advancing the cause of human health. He pointed out that Getinge’s high-tech health-care innovations could help meet the Chinese peoples’ needs in the relevant fields. He expressed the hope that Getinge would strengthen its communication with Chinese medical institutions, continue to tap into the cooperation potential between the two sides, and enhance cooperation in multiple areas such as R&D, production and sales, so as to benefit the two countries and peoples.
