On September 30, 2024, Ambassador Cui Aimin met with Dan Smith, Director of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).

The two sides exchanged views on international and regional hotspot issues of mutual interest and agreed that it is important to further promote the cooperation between Chinese and Swedish think tanks, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, build greater consensus, and play their due and active role in advancing the continuous development of China-Sweden friendly and cooperative relations.
