On September 25, 2024, Ambassador Cui Aimin attended Huawei Nordic Innovation Summit and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Sweden (KHIS) Forum. More than 70 representatives from Swedish and Chinese enterprises were present at the event. 

In his remarks, Ambassador Cui shared information on the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee which focuses on advancing Chinese modernization on all fronts, and promoting China’s high-quality development and scientific and technological innovation. Ambassador Cui stated that China and Sweden are complementary in industries, and have huge potential for cooperation in areas such as ICT, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and big data. He encouraged more Swedish enterprises to invest and do business in China, and share China’s development dividends and its vast market. He expressed the hope that Chinese and Swedish enterprises could further enhance exchanges and mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, achieve mutual benefits and win-win results, and elevate the bilateral economic and trade cooperation to a higher level. 

The participants attended the Huawei ICT Roadshow, which showcased the latest technological products, and exchanged views on topics including innovation trends and the integration of innovation with practical applications.
