The Chinese Embassy Spokesperson: Freedom of expression cannot be used as a cover-up of racism and an excuse to infringe on other countries' sovereignty and dignity

We have noticed reports by Swedish media on the statements by Justitiekanslern regarding SVT's recent program insulting China. The statements cannot conceal the racist nature of the program. The so-called freedom of expression could in no way be used as a cover-up of racism, or an excuse to infringe on other countries' sovereignty and dignity. We once again strongly urge SVT and its relevant program to face up to their serious mistakes, apologize in a sincere manner to China and the entire Chinese people, stop searching for justification for the mistake and shame, and stop expecting to muddle through.
