From 1 December 2017, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China starts to adopt China Online Visa Application (COVA) system for Chinese visa application.

All applicants for Chinese visa shall fill in online application form and make appointment (website: https://www.visaforchina.cn/STH2_EN/), print out Confirmation of Online Visa Application and Visa Application Form with the applicant's signature, and hand in to the China Visa Application Service Center at Stockholm together with passport both in original and photocopy, a photo and other application documents.

Online application website for Diplomatic or service passport holders and diplomatic, service or courtesy visa applicants is: cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn. Print out Confirmation of Online Visa Application and Visa Application Form with the applicant's signature,and hand in to the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy with one photo with other application documents.
